Nick is an independent consultant and advisor for vehicle manufacturers, insurers and tech start-ups, specialising in IoT and Connectivity. In a career spanning more than 35 years, Nick has served in senior roles on a global level in both large and small technology businesses in the communications, telematics, insurance, automotive and dot.com space. His experience also includes his own software start-up in California.

Until mid-2017, Nick ran the connected car program at the RAC in UK where the team spear-headed work on vehicle predictive maintenance through connectivity. Prior to that he was head of Masternaut in Central Europe and lead initiatives in both the leasing and insurance sectors.

Nick also has significant experience of international markets, having lived and worked in UK, Germany, France and the USA always with global market responsibilities. Common themes through Nick’s career have been business leadership and generation roles in technology-oriented companies based on strategic thought and execution leadership.

He has a strong interest in businesses wishing to leverage technology in order to grow and differentiate in the digital age.
